When you are the most educated person at the table

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:1

When you are the most educated person at the table. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You can tell the truth about what is happening without surrendering to it. The question is whether this moment gets to define what is true about you. Other people's opinions are poor foundations for identity. Let Jesus Christ, not performance or approval, define what is true about you. Give yourself enough room to respond on purpose. Let your next response be shaped by truth rather than reflex.

What responsibility has God truly placed in your hands here? Where can you stop after doing what is actually yours?

Jesus Christ, I place both the clear part and the confusing part before You. Do not let shame or loneliness make the next decision for me. Teach me Your way. Amen.
