When you are tired of being the strong one

2 Timothy 1:5

Faith can travel through generations, and so can a new pattern.

When you are tired of being the strong one. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Family history explains some things, but it does not get to prophesy your future. Jesus Christ can interrupt what has repeated for generations. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
