When you are tired of performing strength

Your old life is not the final word, Christ now lives in you.

Galatians 2:20

When you are tired of performing strength. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You are not being faithless by admitting this is hard. The circumstance is real, but it is not allowed to become your master. Achievement and failure are both too small to name you. Return your identity to the One who created and redeemed you. A pause can keep an old pattern from taking over. The goal is not speed; it is a response that agrees with Jesus Christ.

What is yours to steward today? What can you entrust to Jesus Christ after you have been faithful with your part?

Jesus Christ, I come to You without pretending I understand all of this. Keep me honest, teachable, and anchored in You as I respond. Amen.
