When you are underpaid and afraid to leave. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Honesty about the circumstance is not unbelief. The question is whether this moment gets to define what is true about you. Your work deserves stewardship, but it does not deserve your identity. Let Christ define your worth while you steward the work in front of you. Do not let urgency make the decision for you. Let your next response be shaped by truth rather than reflex.

Where does your responsibility end in this situation? Where can you stop after doing what is actually yours?

Jesus Christ, I bring You the whole situation instead of only the part I can organize. Guard me from reacting out of fear or wounded pride; lead me in Your truth. Amen.
