When you are waiting for a relationship

Those who wait on the Lord receive renewed strength.

When you are waiting for a relationship. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Pause long enough to hear the belief hiding beneath the emotion. The old script is strongest when it never has to answer to Scripture. A quiet season is not the same thing as divine absence. God's presence is not measured by how quickly the circumstance changes. You do not have to wait until your emotions catch up. One truthful response can keep the old pattern from writing another page.

Are you asking Jesus Christ to lead, or asking Him to bless what you already decided? What answer would require genuine change?

Jesus Christ, bring my conclusions into the light and correct what does not agree with You. Teach me the next faithful step and help me trust You beyond it. Amen.
