When you are waiting for an apology
Patient waiting is active, like a farmer expecting a harvest.
James 5:7-8
When you are waiting for an apology. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may have influence here without having control. You can still choose what receives your agreement and what you place in Christ's hands. The unanswered middle is not proof that you have been overlooked. God's presence is not measured by how quickly the circumstance changes. Move on the responsibility that truly belongs to you. Leave the outcome where it belongs: in God's hands.
What familiar reaction is already waiting in the wings? What would faithfulness choose in its place?
Jesus Christ, I surrender what I cannot guarantee or force. Help me act responsibly without crossing into control. Amen.
