When you are waiting for closure from the person who caused the confusion. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. What you feel first may be understandable. Let the feeling be information, not a command. Love and wisdom are not enemies. Follow Christ in the relationship instead of letting the relationship become lord. The outcome may remain unresolved today. Let Christ lead you through uncertainty instead of trying to eliminate it.

Which piece of this situation are you gripping because uncertainty feels unsafe? How could you remain responsible without trying to become sovereign?

Lord Jesus, I release my demand to control how this situation ends. Give me courage to be faithful without demanding certainty. Amen.
