When you are waiting for grief to hurt less. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Ask yourself what meaning you are assigning to this before you react. The old script is strongest when it never has to answer to Scripture. The unanswered middle is not proof that you have been overlooked. Jesus Christ remains Lord while the answer is still forming outside your sight. Faithfulness can be quiet and still be real. One truthful response can keep the old pattern from writing another page.

Where might familiarity be disguising itself as wisdom? What answer would require genuine change?

Jesus, I stop treating control as if it were the same thing as faithfulness. Help me act responsibly without crossing into control. Amen.
