When you are waiting for healing

Habakkuk 2:3

God's appointed time may seem slow, but His word is not late.

When you are waiting for healing. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Waiting is not proof that God has forgotten you. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has no visible movement yet. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus, I do not want an old pattern making today's decision for me. Renew my mind, steady my emotions, and lead me in truth. You are Lord here too. Amen.
