When you are waiting for work

The Lord is good to those who seek Him and wait for Him.

Lamentations 3:25-26

When you are waiting for work. This is where faith gets practical. Catch the sentence that begins explaining what this supposedly means about you. Do not let familiarity turn an assumption into a fact. Lack of visible movement does not mean nothing is happening. God's presence is not measured by how quickly the circumstance changes. Sometimes the first evidence of change is one truthful decision. What begins small can become a genuinely different way of living.

What advice would sound obvious if the situation belonged to someone other than you? How might that counsel apply to you today?

Jesus Christ, show me what is automatic in me but not aligned with You. Guard my heart and lead me into the response that reflects You. Amen.
