When you assume silence means something is wrong. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You can tell the truth about what is happening without surrendering to it. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. An anxious prediction can feel certain without actually being true. Uncertainty does not remove Jesus Christ from the future you cannot see. Give yourself enough room to respond on purpose. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.

What responsibility has God truly placed in your hands here? What outcome are you carrying that belongs in God's hands?

Jesus Christ, show me what is actually true here and expose the story I have layered on top of it. Teach me the next faithful step and help me trust You beyond it. Amen.
