When you cannot sleep because tomorrow is already in the room

When fear comes, choose to trust God.

Psalm 56:3

When you cannot sleep because tomorrow is already in the room. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. When something hurts, quick relief can feel like the obvious goal. What calms the moment may still keep the deeper pattern alive. The loudest outcome in your mind is not automatically the most truthful one. Bring the forecast of fear under the truth and lordship of Jesus Christ. The entire future does not need an answer before the day is over. Let Jesus Christ have the final word for this moment.

What biblical truth directly challenges the story your emotions are telling? How can you give that truth practical authority in your next decision?

Lord Jesus, do not let yesterday's reflex govern today's response. Lead me in truth even if the old reaction still feels more natural. Amen.
