When you confuse loyalty with self abandonment. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Faith does not require you to pretend this is easy. The question is whether this moment gets to define what is true about you. A loving heart still needs wise boundaries and clear eyes. Follow Christ in the relationship instead of letting the relationship become lord. Slow the moment down. Let your next response be shaped by truth rather than reflex.

What can you faithfully do, and what remains outside your control? What part needs to be released back to God?

Jesus Christ, I bring You the pattern that keeps trying to decide before I do. Strengthen me to choose obedience where repetition once felt automatic. Amen.
