When you do not have to attend every argument. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. A feeling can be real without being qualified to lead. A clear mind can acknowledge the feeling without letting it write the next action. Limits can be loving even when another person dislikes them. Follow Christ in what you allow, what you refuse, and what you stop carrying. Your peace cannot depend on forcing a particular result. Choose alignment with Jesus Christ over the illusion of control.

Where have you allowed one event to sound like a permanent sentence? What would you do differently if you refused to let this define you?

Jesus Christ, expose every assumption in this situation that is pretending to be fact. Make me obedient in my responsibility and surrendered about the outcome. Amen.
