When you have questions nobody answers well

Jesus never promised a trouble-free life, but He has overcome the world.

John 16:33

When you have questions nobody answers well. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Do not overlook the kind of breakthrough that happens in your response. A different response is evidence that the old script is not in charge. Christian faith rests on Someone stronger than your changing emotions. Return to Jesus Christ Himself rather than measuring faith by your emotional temperature. Pause before the old reflex becomes another decision. The next chapter can begin with a different response.

What are you trying to force because waiting on God feels vulnerable? How could you remain responsible without trying to become sovereign?

Jesus Christ, I refuse to let a familiar pattern become my automatic answer again. Give me a new response that reflects Your truth rather than my history. Amen.
