When you have to stop calling inconsistency confusion. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Some pieces of this situation are simply not yours to manage. Jesus Christ can meet you in the part you cannot control while leading you in the part you can. Affection does not make every relationship healthy. You can love people and still refuse patterns that oppose wisdom. Take care of your part with integrity. You can stop where your responsibility ends.

Where has fear turned into an attempt to manage the outcome? What might faithful release look like here?
