When you have to work with someone you do not trust

Ask God to establish the work of your hands.

Psalm 90:17

When you have to work with someone you do not trust. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. The part you cannot control may be the part making the most noise. Your responsibility is your response, your agreement, and your obedience before Jesus Christ. What happens at work matters, but it cannot carry the weight of naming you. Let Christ define your worth while you steward the work in front of you. Handle the part Jesus Christ has placed in your hands. After that, stop carrying what was never assigned to you.

What do you usually do first when this pressure shows up? How would a Christ-led response differ from that reflex?

Lord Jesus, I release the result I keep trying to carry ahead of time. Make me faithful with my responsibility and peaceful about what belongs to You. Amen.
