When you have turned Bible reading into a scorecard. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. You may feel pressure to do something simply so the tension will decrease. A faithful direction can require staying uncomfortable long enough to choose well. Your relationship with God is not secured by your ability to feel certain every day. The cross and resurrection remain true on the days your confidence is weak. Today does not need to carry the weight of your entire life. Choose whose truth will govern the part you can actually act on now.
