Forgiveness is part of following Christ, but it does not erase wisdom.

When you inherited fear around money. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. Family history explains some things, but it does not get to prophesy your future. Jesus Christ can interrupt what has repeated for generations. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
