Ask God for wisdom and expect Him to give it generously.

When you keep asking everybody what they think. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. There is a difference between acknowledging reality and surrendering your identity to it. One is wisdom. The other is captivity. You do not need omniscience to make a faithful decision. Jesus Christ can direct a surrendered person one step at a time. Bring the real problem to Jesus Christ, not the polished version. He already knows what is underneath.

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
