Refusing the automatic response can be the beginning of freedom. Having more does not make you more valuable, and having less does not make you less loved. Handle money faithfully while keeping your trust anchored in Jesus Christ. What happens next does not have to be dictated by what happened before. Let truth, not habit, decide what you do next.
