When you keep calling indecision patience

You can plan your course while trusting God to direct your steps.

Proverbs 16:9

When you keep calling indecision patience. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Facing the truth of the situation does not require handing it your identity. Christ is still the authority over your identity. A wise decision can still involve uncertainty. Ask for wisdom, choose faithfully, and trust Jesus Christ beyond what you can predict. Prayer is not the place to perform being fine. Jesus Christ already sees the fear, motive, grief, and hope underneath it.

Which label are you putting on yourself because of what happened? Where does the story conflict with your identity in Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ, show me what is automatic in me but not aligned with You. Lead me in truth before emotion or habit can take over. Amen.
