Bring anxiety to God in prayer and His peace will guard your heart and mind.

Philippians 4:6-7

When you keep checking the lock. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Breakthrough is not always a visible change around you. Seeing the reflex before following it gives truth room to lead. An anxious prediction can feel certain without actually being true. Let Christ, not fear, have authority over what you believe about what comes next. Do not let the reflex write the next part automatically. A faithful interruption can keep the same story from repeating.

What part of this are you trying hardest to control? What belongs in God's hands instead?

Jesus Christ, expose every assumption in this situation that is pretending to be fact. Give me courage to act on truth and peace about what remains outside my control. Amen.
