When you keep giving explanations nobody asked for. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. A boundary is not a punishment. It is a decision about what you will participate in, and Jesus Christ never modeled unlimited access to every demand. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus, I do not want an old pattern making today's decision for me. Renew my mind, steady my emotions, and lead me in truth. You are Lord here too. Amen.
