When you know the job is ending before they say it

Ask God for wisdom when the next move is unclear.

James 1:5

When you know the job is ending before they say it. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Not everything involved in this situation belongs in your hands. Your responsibility is your response, your agreement, and your obedience before Jesus Christ. Productivity is a responsibility, not a savior. Jesus Christ remains your source whether work is thriving, changing, or absent. Be faithful with the next concrete step. After that, stop carrying what was never assigned to you.

Where do you notice yourself moving on reflex? How would a Christ-led response differ from that reflex?

Jesus, interrupt the automatic response in me that does not agree with Your truth. Give me clarity and courage to respond differently this time. Amen.
