When you know the verse but do not feel it. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. Your emotions can be honest signals without becoming instructions. Feel what is present, then choose from truth rather than emotional momentum. Your relationship with God is not secured by your ability to feel certain every day. Trust Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, when your feelings are inconsistent. Control is not the goal of this moment. Your responsibility is to stay faithful while God remains responsible for what you cannot determine.

What conclusion have you treated as settled simply because this moment hurts? How might hope reenter the room if this is not the final word?

Lord Jesus, stop the reflex in me that keeps repeating what You are trying to change. Renew my thinking and strengthen me for the next right action. Amen.
