When you love somebody you cannot trust. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Christian faith makes room for reality without bowing to it. What is happening can be acknowledged without becoming the ruler of your identity. Connection is not permission to abandon discernment. Let Christ show you how to remain loving without calling harm loyalty. You are allowed to take a moment before you respond. A deliberate response can interrupt what has repeated for years.

Where are you carrying a responsibility God did not assign to you? Where does surrender need to begin after responsibility ends?

Jesus, I bring You the facts, the emotions, and the questions I cannot resolve. Keep me honest, teachable, and anchored in You as I respond. Amen.
