When you love your family and still need distance. This is where faith gets practical. Listen to the sentence your mind produces after the first emotion. Repeated thoughts can sound authoritative without actually being true. What repeated in your family can be acknowledged without being inherited as destiny. The old family script does not outrank the transforming work of Jesus Christ. A single honest choice can become a turning point. Place this decision under the lordship of Jesus Christ and move from there.
