When you made the wrong decision

Trust the Lord rather than leaning only on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5-6

When you made the wrong decision. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Notice the story your mind is building before you act on it. Slow awareness gives truth a chance to interrupt the pattern. You do not need complete knowledge before you can make a faithful decision. The goal is not perfect foresight; it is a surrendered decision under Christ's lordship. You may not feel transformed in this moment, and that is okay. Stay with truth long enough to choose differently this time.

Do you want truth, or do you want reassurance that the old pattern is acceptable? Which choice best reflects wisdom rather than repetition?

Lord Jesus, nothing about this is hidden from You, including what I do not understand. Keep me honest, teachable, and anchored in You as I respond. Amen.
