When you need hope that is stronger than circumstances

God promises a day when death, mourning, crying, and pain will end.

Revelation 21:4

When you need hope that is stronger than circumstances. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Some pieces of this situation are simply not yours to manage. Jesus Christ can meet you in the part you cannot control while leading you in the part you can. Biblical hope can look directly at disappointment without surrendering to despair. Let the risen Jesus Christ, not the present disappointment, define what is ultimately possible. Choose the next right action without trying to solve the entire outcome. You can stop where your responsibility ends.

Which response feels almost preprogrammed here? What would change if Jesus Christ, not reflex, directed the next step?

Jesus Christ, I release my demand to control how this situation ends. Keep me surrendered where I have no authority and obedient where I do. Amen.
