Many plans can live in a person's heart, but the Lord's purpose stands.

When you need to commit the plan to Jesus Christ. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. You do not need omniscience to make a faithful decision. Jesus Christ can direct a surrendered person one step at a time. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
