When you need to stop calling survival your personality

God can do a new thing without requiring you to deny the past.

Isaiah 43:18-19

When you need to stop calling survival your personality. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. Discomfort creates pressure to make it stop quickly. Let obedience outrank immediate relief. The fact that something hurt deeply does not mean it gets permanent ownership of you. Healing under Jesus Christ tells the truth about the wound and the truth about who you still are. You are not required to solve everything today. The next decision is enough ground for obedience today.

Which truth from Scripture needs more volume than your first reaction? What response would agree with Scripture rather than the reflex?

Jesus Christ, I place the ending of this situation back in Your hands. Teach me where my responsibility ends and surrender begins. Amen.
