Psalm 90:17

Ask God to establish the work of your hands.

When you need wisdom more than another strategy. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Work matters, but it is a place of stewardship, not your source of identity. Jesus Christ is Lord in the office, the unemployment line, and the next chapter. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
