When you only pray when there is a crisis

Faith grows through hearing the word of Christ.

Romans 10:17

When you only pray when there is a crisis. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Wisdom tells the truth about reality without surrendering to its labels. Wisdom sees clearly; captivity lets the circumstance become a label. Faith is not a performance review of how consistent your feelings have been. The cross and resurrection remain true on the days your confidence is weak. Take the unedited problem to Jesus Christ. He can work with what is true, not what merely sounds respectable.

What are you assuming this moment says about your worth, future, or identity? What would change if Christ's words had more authority than that interpretation?

Jesus Christ, help me see this situation clearly instead of through the story fear has written. Help me respond to what is true and leave the ending in Your hands. Amen.
