When you outgrow the version of you they preferred. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to minimize the situation to trust Jesus Christ. This moment can be difficult without becoming the source of your truth. Love and wisdom are not enemies. You can love people and still refuse patterns that oppose wisdom. Refuse the pressure to react automatically. Choose what is faithful, not merely what is familiar.

Where does your responsibility end in this situation? What outcome are you carrying that belongs in God's hands?

Lord Jesus, nothing about this is hidden from You, including what I do not understand. Lead me away from fear-driven reactions and into obedience with You. Amen.
