When you say yes and resent it immediately. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. Feeling fear, rejection, shame, or exhaustion does not make you wrong. A clear mind can acknowledge the feeling without letting it write the next action. A boundary is not automatically punishment or rejection. Let Christ teach you the difference between love and endless availability. You do not need to secure the outcome before you can be faithful. Choose alignment with Jesus Christ over the illusion of control.

How are you turning this circumstance into a final judgment about yourself or your future? What would you do differently if you refused to let this define you?

Jesus, I bring You the facts, the emotions, and the questions I cannot resolve. Keep my emotions from becoming my master, and teach me to follow You in this. Amen.
