Jesus invites the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest.

Matthew 11:28-30

When you thought you were over it until you saw them. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Naming what is happening is not the same as letting it define you. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. You can heal without rewriting the past as harmless. Jesus Christ can meet you in the wound without letting the wound become your identity. Create enough space to hear truth before habit speaks. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.

Where are you carrying a responsibility God did not assign to you? What outcome are you carrying that belongs in God's hands?

Jesus Christ, expose every assumption in this situation that is pretending to be fact. Teach me the next faithful step and help me trust You beyond it. Amen.
