When your adult child stops asking for advice. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may have influence here without having control. Bring your actual part to Jesus Christ and release the role you were never given. Your child matters enormously to you, but their life was never meant to rest entirely on your shoulders. Your child ultimately belongs to God, and Jesus Christ can lead where your reach ends. Move on the responsibility that truly belongs to you. Do not turn responsibility into an attempt at control.
