When your body cannot do what it used to do
Your body belongs to God and is worth stewarding.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
When your body cannot do what it used to do. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. What you feel first may be understandable. Feel what is present, then choose from truth rather than emotional momentum. Your body can require care without becoming the center of your identity. Steward your body under the lordship of Jesus Christ. The outcome may remain unresolved today. Your responsibility is to stay faithful while God remains responsible for what you cannot determine.
How would this feel different if you stopped reading it as a verdict on your worth? How might hope reenter the room if this is not the final word?
Jesus, show me where I have added fear, shame, or prediction to the facts. Help me respond to what is true and leave the ending in Your hands. Amen.
