When your body is asking for stewardship

A life without self-control is vulnerable like a city without walls.

Proverbs 25:28

When your body is asking for stewardship. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not be able to change the person, timing, circumstance, or outcome. Stay responsible for your response without pretending you are responsible for everything. Small habits deserve attention when they start governing your time, body, thoughts, or obedience. Let Christ retrain what repetition has made automatic. Take the next obedient step that is actually yours. Faithfulness has a boundary; let God remain God beyond it.

Which reaction is trying to take over before you think? How could you answer this moment from truth rather than habit?

Jesus Christ, I want this response to be led by You rather than by an old pattern. Reorder my thinking and direct my next step under Your lordship. Amen.
