When your body is temporary but still worth stewarding. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Much of this may be outside your control. Jesus Christ can meet you in the part you cannot control while leading you in the part you can. Health deserves attention without becoming the measure of your worth. Jesus Christ can lead you in care, limits, gratitude, and acceptance. Do the next thing that faithfulness requires. You can stop where your responsibility ends.

What response feels automatic in this situation? What would change if Jesus Christ, not reflex, directed the next step?

Lord Jesus, I surrender the outcome I keep trying to manage. Lead me in the work that is mine and release me from carrying what is not. Amen.
