When your child is driving and you cannot control the road. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Faith does not require you to pretend this is easy. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. The loudest outcome in your mind is not automatically the most truthful one. Jesus Christ tells the truth about your future even when you cannot see it. Slow the moment down. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.

Lord Jesus, help me stop repeating what no longer agrees with Your truth. Teach me a different response and give me courage to practice it today. Amen.
