Parents are called to train children with intention.

Proverbs 22:6

When your child's success becomes too important to you. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Naming what is happening is not the same as letting it define you. The circumstance is real, but it is not allowed to become your master. Your love for your child is real, but love does not give you control over every outcome. Let God hold the part of your child's life that no parent can control. Create enough space to hear truth before habit speaks. The goal is not speed; it is a response that agrees with Jesus Christ.

Where are you carrying a responsibility God did not assign to you? How would your next step change if you stopped trying to manage God's part?

Jesus Christ, I come to You without pretending I understand all of this. Give me a clear response that reflects Your truth rather than my panic. Amen.
