You can choose whom you will serve, even when your family history is complicated.

When your children trigger places you never healed. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Acknowledging reality and letting it define you are not the same thing. What happened can inform your story without becoming your name. Family history explains some of what shaped you, but it does not own your future. In Christ, a generational pattern can stop becoming a generational prophecy. Bring Jesus Christ the version you are actually living, not the version that sounds composed. Nothing beneath the surface is hidden from Him.
