When your evenings disappear into screens. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Acknowledging reality and letting it define you are not the same thing. Wisdom sees clearly; captivity lets the circumstance become a label. What begins as comfort can become control when choice slowly disappears. Freedom in Jesus Christ includes learning to say no to appetites that have learned to command you. Bring Jesus Christ the version you are actually living, not the version that sounds composed. He can work with what is true, not what merely sounds respectable.
