When your family expects access because they are family. This is where faith gets practical. The story you repeat internally can start feeling factual simply because it is familiar. Test that sentence against Scripture before you let it settle in as truth. Your family story matters, but it is not sovereign over what comes next. Let Jesus Christ teach you a different way where the family pattern has been automatic. One obedient response can become the first brick in a different pattern. Let Jesus Christ govern the choice in front of you.

Jesus Christ, I refuse to let a familiar pattern become my automatic answer again. Make my thinking clear and my emotions steady enough to follow You faithfully. Amen.
