Colossians 3:3

Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

When your past keeps trying to introduce you. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. There is a difference between acknowledging reality and surrendering your identity to it. One is wisdom. The other is captivity. Your worth was not built by performance, approval, age, appearance, or achievement. Jesus Christ is the One who names you. Bring the real problem to Jesus Christ, not the polished version. He already knows what is underneath.

What story are you attaching to this situation that Jesus Christ never said about you?

Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
