When your plan has no momentum

Wait for the Lord with courage and a strengthened heart.

When your plan has no momentum. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Christian faith makes room for reality without bowing to it. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. Delay is not evidence that God has forgotten your name. God's presence is not measured by how quickly the circumstance changes. You are allowed to take a moment before you respond. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.

Which piece belongs to your obedience rather than your anxiety? What outcome are you carrying that belongs in God's hands?

Jesus, I bring You the facts, the emotions, and the questions I cannot resolve. Steady me where fear and pride want to take over, and lead me faithfully. Amen.
