When your plan has no momentum

Psalm 27:14

Wait for the Lord with courage and a strengthened heart.

When your plan has no momentum. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. Waiting is not proof that God has forgotten you. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has no visible movement yet. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Lord Jesus Christ, I bring You the part I can explain and the part I cannot. Keep me from reacting out of fear, shame, pride, or loneliness. Teach me to move with You. Amen.
