How to Stay Kingdom-Focused in a World Obsessed with Appearances
We live in a society captivated by appearances.
Too often, assurance is placed on material things rather than faith in who God says He is and all Jesus died for.
God allows us to enjoy blessings—He doesn’t want us stressed or unproductive—but make no mistake:
we all have a purpose.
Our calling is to point people to Jesus by loving like Him, while using our gifts and talents to make a positive impact in the world.
The Word of God calls us the salt of the Earth.
Salt has value, but it’s not the gift—it’s the purpose it serves.
Likewise, we are to love the Giver, not just the gifts we receive.
Validation from the wrong place can throw us off course, leaving us empty.
If you’ve struggled with placing importance in worldly things, you’re not alone.
Audit your life.
Make Jesus your foundation.
Repent if needed.
And remember, it’s never too late to realign your focus.
