When you refuse to live under words that were never meant for you

Words carry weight—more than most people realize.


There’s power in what’s spoken over you and even more in what you choose to agree with. I’ve had to tell my daughters this many times: be careful who you let speak into your life. A well-meaning voice can still carry a curse when it doesn’t line up with God’s truth.


Maybe they’re right about me.

No, they’re not. Only God has the final word.


The world will label you by your past, your pain, or your parent’s mistakes—but Jesus Christ redefines you by His blood. When He said, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed,” He meant exactly that. Freedom isn’t partial; it’s complete. The problem is, most people settle for half-healed hearts because they believe what others say louder than what God already promised.


The Soul Esteem movement exists to remind you that you are not what happened to you—you are who He says you are. No statistic, diagnosis, or generational pattern can override that truth.
